Stephanie Stolz

Firm Administrator / Advanced Certified Paralegal

Stephanie Stolz is the current Firm Administrator and an Advanced Certified Paralegal. Ms. Stolz obtained the prestigious Advanced Certified Paralegal (ACP) designation from the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) in Family Law – Division of Property and Spousal Support.

Stephanie began her legal career at The Abrams Law Firm eighteen years ago. She started at the receptionist position in May 2004. While working full-time for the firm, she simultaneously completed the Paralegal Studies Program with special emphasis in Nevada Practices and Procedures, Contract Law, and Family Law from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. In 2005 she was promoted to a Certified Paralegal position. In 2006 she achieved the role of Lead Certified Paralegal. She was promoted to the role of Firm Administrator in 2010. In addition to her Advanced Certified Paralegal duties, Stephanie is responsible for numerous areas of the firm’s business operations including accounting and vendor relationships.

David Schoen – Advanced Certified Paralegal

Advanced Certified Paralegal David Schoen joined The Abrams Law Firm after a distinguished career in the United States military. David received his paralegal certificate from the United States Army’s Judge Advocate General’s Corps Legal Center in 2009 as an Honor Graduate, before serving four years as a Paralegal Non-Commissioned Officer with the decorated XVIII Airborne Corps. Mr. Schoen gained extensive experience in multiple legal disciplines, from capital litigation to military family law, and supported challenging and intensive campaigns, including Operation Unified Response – Haiti, and Operation New Dawn – Iraq, where he received numerous awards and commendations for his service and the quality of work in the legal field.

In 2016, Mr. Schoen obtained the prestigious Certified Paralegal (CP) designation from the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA). He is also the only paralegal in the State of Nevada to earn the Advanced Certified Paralegal (ACP) designation in Family Law. Mr. Schoen has presented multiple CLE courses during the paralegal tracks of the Nevada Family Law Conferences. In 2017, Mr. Schoen received recognition from the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada and Nevada’s entire congressional delegation for his pro bono work as a volunteer educational surrogate parent.

David’s responsibilities include assisting divorce attorneys Jennifer V. Abrams and Vincent Mayo with drafting pleadings, motions and trial memorandum, propounding and responding to discovery, analyzing case-related data, and trial preparation.

Mark DiCiero – Advanced Certified Paralegal

Advanced Certified Paralegal Mark DiCiero earned his Certified Paralegal accreditation from the prestigious National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA). In December 2021, Mark received his Advanced Certified Paralegal (ACP) accreditation from NALA in the areas of child custody, support, and visitation. Prior to joining The Abrams & Mayo Law Firm, Mark was employed as the lead law clerk and paralegal for a well-known Las Vegas family law firm. He also had a successful previous career in the media industry prior to working in law.

Mr. DiCiero primarily handles researching case law, discovery, trial preparation, and initial drafting of legal motions and pleadings for the firm’s attorneys. He also serves as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for the Eighth Judicial District Court in Clark County advocating for children that have been victims of abuse and neglect.

Mark was born and raised in Broomfield, Colorado and attended the University of Colorado at Boulder, earning a Bachelor’s Degree from the College of Business and Administration. He moved to Las Vegas in 1997 and currently resides in the Summerlin area. Mark enjoys an active lifestyle and spending time with his daughter.

Julie Schoen – Certified Paralegal

Certified Paralegal Julie Schoen joined The Abrams & Mayo Law Firm in 2014. Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Schoen was employed by the local office of a national medical malpractice litigation law firm in an executive level support capacity. In this role, she assisted in the defense of several Las Vegas-area hospitals and medical clinics from various types of lawsuits.

Ms. Schoen completed the Certified Paralegal Studies Program at the University of Nevada Las Vegas in 2015 with special emphasis in Contract Law and Tort Law, and is also a certified legal transcriptionist.

Julie’s volunteer work focuses on her dedication to our nation’s armed forces, where she has served as an Army Family Readiness Group Leader. This role included being a liaison and advisor to families of service members who are deployed throughout the world.

Chantel Wade – Office Manager

Chantel Wade joined The Abrams Law Firm in 2016. Ms. Wade was employed by Caesars Entertainment previous to joining our law firm.

Chantel’s daily responsibilities include coordinating numerous aspects of client communications, records management, reproduction services, and office management duties.

Ms. Wade is a long-time Las Vegas resident who graduated with honors from Eldorado High School before earning her degree in commercial photography from the Community College of Southern Nevada.

She often donates her time to local charities providing them with her considerable photography skills for their local events. Chantel spends the majority of her free time with her daughter and enjoys reading, yoga, music, photography, and traveling.

Brie Ho – Legal Secretary

Brie Ho directly assists our attorneys and certified paralegals with all aspects of case management. She maintains all client and case records in both electronic and physical files. She also coordinates with our staff in keeping clients informed of important documents related to their case.

Her responsibilities also include scheduling meetings, conferences, depositions, process servers, court appearances, and other case related calendaring events. Prior to joining The Abrams and Mayo Law Firm, she worked for another prestigious Las Vegas family law firm.

Brie is very involved in the local community. She has been trained in Applied Behavior Analysis therapy and has worked extensively, one to one, with children on the autism spectrum. She also supports a local animal rescue facility. In her rare spare time, Brie enjoys spending time with her husband of nineteen years and their five children, on their boat at Lake Mead.
