Las Vegas Divorce Attorneys. Las Vegas Divorce Lawyers.
Protective Orders
Regardless of gender, there is nothing more important than the safety of our clients. If any form of Domestic Violence has been committed against you, Las Vegas divorce attorneys, Jennifer V. Abrams or Vincent Mayo, can immediately file for a Temporary Protective Order (TPO). If the TPO is granted, a court hearing will be scheduled to determine if the Temporary Order should be extended.
Domestic Violence is not limited to acts of physical violence. It can also take the form of harassment. This can include verifiable threats of bodily harm, contacting your employer, visiting your workplace, repeatedly calling you, having utilities turned off in your residence, etc.
We take any form of Domestic Violence seriously. If we determine that a true Domestic Violence situation has occurred, we will not hesitate to act swiftly on your behalf.
Conversely, we will never take up the Clark County Family Court's valuable time with frivolous accusations intended to "position" our client in the divorce proceedings.
