Divorce

It is important to protect your rights as early as possible. The decisions you make at the time of separation and during the divorce process are critical to your rights regarding Temporary Spousal Support, Property Settlements, Alimony, Child related issues and numerous other considerations.

Our primary goal is to conclude each divorce case as efficiently as possible, without ever compromising your rights. But we also take a no-nonsense approach to uncooperative spouses and the divorce lawyers who represent them. We will not hesitate to litigate a matter when necessary.

Each divorce client at The Abrams Law Firm can expect the following:
  • Las Vegas divorce attorney, Jennifer V. Abrams, our law firm's founder, manages each case.
  • You will speak directly with your Attorney before any work begins on your case. Your Attorney, along with one of our Certified Paralegals, will be your primary points of contact until your matter is resolved.
  • For emergency or urgent communications, you will have 24/7 access to your Attorney, via a private phone number. This includes holidays.
  • All client calls are answered immediately or returned within 24 hours - Guaranteed.
  • Gender plays no part in our representation. We represent both men and women with equal diligence.
  • Each client receives a Decree of Divorce personally crafted for their individual set of circumstances. We do not use standardized forms and try to cram your case into a "fill in the blank" divorce.
  • All additional benefits that are detailed in our Client's Bill of Rights.
There are three general categories of divorce proceedings: Contested, Uncontested, and Joint Petition. Our law firm exclusively represents clients in Contested and Uncontested divorces only.

We do not provide Joint Petition Divorces where one lawyer represents both spouses. Beware if your spouse suggests that you use his/her lawyer. This is a critical mistake in divorce matters. Your interests are best protected by completely independent legal counsel provided by an experienced divorce attorney.

We respectfully also do not handle post-divorce (after the Decree of Divorce is entered) matters unless our law firm represented you in your original divorce case.

Please select either Contested Divorce or Uncontested Divorce to learn more about what we provide, and if it is right for your individual situation.
